Our Charity Partners

We are delighted to announce our new charity partners Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice and The Children’s Hospital.

Ross and Catherall recently held our first fundraising event of the year raising £234 for Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice and The Children’s Hospital. This event was an incredible demonstration of the generosity and compassion of our employees.

All the money raised by our employees will be matched by the company at the end of the year which means that these two worthy charities will benefit even more from the donations our employees have made.

We would like to thank our employees for their hard work and dedication in making this fundraising event a success. Our Social Responsibility Committee are now turning their attention to our next fundraising event and have some exciting ideas in the pipeline.

Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice

The dream of Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice began in 1998, with the vision to help families in this area who wanted an alternative to hospital care. Fundraising started when 11-year-old Richard and his mum wanted him to pass away at home.

In 2004, your support made our dream come true and we began to build the hospice. On 19th September 2008, we opened the doors to the first families who needed us.

Since then, you’ve helped us support hundreds of children from across South Yorkshire, North Derbyshire, North Nottinghamshire and parts of North Lincolnshire.

The Children’s Hospital

Here at Charity HQ we help to change children’s lives every day by supporting pioneering ground-breaking medical treatment and creating a comfortable and engaging environment at Sheffield Children’s. Donations, fundraising, sponsorship and everything in between help create a healthier future for children and young people who visit Sheffield Children’s.

What makes Sheffield Children’s special? Most importantly it comes down to people - and we think the people who work here are amazing! Kindness and compassion are key, and our colleagues have those things in bucketloads. Everyday patients and their families tell us how caring and kind our colleagues have been, and how they’ve been made to feel safe and at home with us.
