Increased capacity introduced at our in-house Air Melt Foundry to meet the rising demands from our customers due to Tariff concerns from their current US suppliers
Read moreRoss & Catherall has not only expanded the melting capacity of our vacuum melting foundry, but we have also increased the capacity of our in-house Air Melt Foundry to meet the rising demands from our customers.
The recent tariffs imposed by the U.S. government on Chinese goods have resulted in a significant increase in demand from customers looking to avoid the escalating costs associated with these tariffs. It’s important to note that a substantial proportion of elements used in the manufacture of superalloys, either vacuum or air melted, are sourced from China.
Please remember to utilise and make use of your revert, again, this helps reduce your alloy costs.
If your current supplier is affected by these tariffs and has advised of delays to shipments, Ross & Catherall can help reduce the impact, and costs associated with the implementation of the tariffs between the U.S. and China.
