Q4 Melting Capacity Available

As casting volumes rise across aerospace, industrial gas turbine (IGT), and other high-temperature sectors, Ross & Catherall continues to expand its alloy melting and processing capacity to meet growing demand.

New capacity is being secured quickly, but we still have melting capacity available in November and December 2026, as some customers reduce production around the holiday period. Please note that Ross & Catherall will close during the Christmas and New Year holidays, dates will be confirmed in a separate newsletter.

We maintain secure supplies of key elements and, while our pricing reflects current market conditions, we are not experiencing the same cost pressures as some competitors, thanks to stable supply chains and minimal tariff impact.

With expanded melting and processing capacity - our new multi-million dollar finishing line commissioning in Q1 - we are well positioned to support increased alloy volumes through 2027.

Remember, our facility offers the most flexible melting capabilities of any major OEM-approved superalloy producer globally. With more furnace capacity options, we can accommodate batch sizes from 500kg (1,100 lbs) to 7,200kg (15,800 lbs).
