Ross & Catherall provide on-site, in-house revert processing to ensure your revert is handled efficiently and effectively, making sure the material is ready for the melting schedules specified in your purchase order (PO).

Your revert material is invaluable, providing the precise composition needed for your next melt. It's cost-efficient, almost like free raw material, recyclable, and sustainable. This "closed loop" melting process helps reduce your company's carbon footprint by decreasing the need for virgin raw materials in each casting.

To fully realise these benefits, it's crucial that the required revert volumes for each order are delivered to Ross & Catherall On-Time In-Full (OTIF) to meet the confirmed melting dates.

Orders should be based on the available revert to meet the requested alloy delivery. Insufficient revert for your standard ratios impacts our melt planning and sequencing, which in turn affects our costs, sales volumes, responsiveness, and competitiveness. Rescheduling costs will be advised by your account manager should revert not be available, on site 10 working days prior to melting, as per our attached RC Spec 01 – Revert Specification.

To meet market demands, we've increased our melting capacity. Delays due to revert shortages will impact your alloy manufacture and delivery. If you can adjust the revert ratio, please do so. If not, utilise one of our eight furnace options - the largest range of furnace capacities worldwide - to ensure we can meet and deliver your orders On-Time In-Full.
